I have suffered from acne from a very young age- in part because I didn't know enough about taking care of my skin. Right through college I continued to suffer from acne breakouts, dark spots and acne scars. I hated my skin! Finally I decided to use Proactive and it worked...as long as I kept using it. Well, Jacquelyn explained to me it was just drying my skin out too much, then my skin would produce more oil to combat the dryness, and that made me more prone to breakouts. Shortly after I came home from a trip to Jamaica, my skin was breaking out worse than it had for a long time. I needed to start investing in a safer, better way to sustain healthy skin. After several searches for a skin esthetician in the Portland area, I am happy to have visited Saving Faces for my first professional facial by an esthetician. Jacquelyn was amazing! Two weeks after my first facial and following her advice on a skin care routine and products she suggested to use.
